Julie has worked in the area of neurorehabilitation since 1988, and has a special interest in the rehabilitation of the incomplete spinal cord injured individual. Julie has worked at Lyndhurst, Spinal Cord Injury Centre, and then later opening her own private community neurorehabilitation practice, Physio-Logic, in Toronto in 1993.

Julie completed her doctoral studies with the Rehabilitation Sciences Institute at the University of Toronto in August 2016.

Course details: This is a four day introductory level course on the role of the foot in postural control, locomotion and body-weight support treadmill training based on the principles of the Bobath concept and an understanding of human movement.

The course will consist of lectures, patient demonstrations (incomplete spinal cord injury & brain injury) followed by clinical reasoning sessions and practical sessions.

Hinta: 650€ (+ alv 24%) sisältää välipalatarjoiluna kahvin. Lounas on omakustanteinen.
Kurssikieli on englanti ja tarvittaessa on saatavilla tulkkaus. Kurssille osallistuminen ei vaadi aikaisempaa kokemusta Bobath-konseptista.
